Originally established by designer, artist, and entrepreneur ‘Jimi Gureje as Kente Creations, Gureje Inc. debuted its unique clothing boutique in the Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY in 2001.
Specializing in custom pieces with detailed fabrics and hand-dyed colorful prints, Gureje intentionally creates apparel that speaks to the world. The relationship with customers is a give and take from the beginning - a unique synergy - whereby the needs and energy of the individual inspire new products and pieces to take shape.
